Too Close For Comfort

All of the schools in our area closed early due to the bad weather predictions. Jack's school closed at 3pm. Due to the numerous tornados in the area, we spent much of the evening in the hallway. It took lots of creativity to keep Jack in one area of the house. We had a floor picnic and used our portable DVD player so he could watch Elmo. Poor Sadie was so scared she knocked us over trying to get into the bathroom. Thankfully we did not loose power or cable. Jay tried to take a picture of the storm cloud as it went north of our neighborhood. The Hickory Ridge Mall was hit by one of the tornados. In true Memphis fashion, people started shooting guns and stealing things so they had to bring out the SWAT team and National Guard.
