Pumpkin Carving

We picked out a great pumpkin at the pumpkin patch. Now it is time to decorate. Jay wanted to do the old school way of cutting triangles. Jack and I were not having that and I bought a carving kit with designs. Jack picked out the smiley face design.

Jack was all gung ho until he realized there was stuff inside. He was not about to touch the slimey inside of the pumpkin. He even started to cry because he didn't want Jay getting yucky.
Jack finally gave up on the mess. He decided it was cleaner to just act like he was carving his own pumpkin. Sometimes he is a little more OCD than his parents.

We were impressed with Jay's pumpkin carving skills.
